The nf file contains redirection information for translating the Canon transport files to those used on the Mac.įor example, a USB connected LBP will have an entry something like "DevicePath usb://Canon/LBP6300?serial=001E8F2968D0" while a LBP that is networked will have an entry something like "Device Path net:10.0.1.10" CCPD most likely stands for Canon something Printer Driver, but why does it want to send information to the internet? Can anyone explain to me why, every time I'm printing something, a process called "ccpd" wants to send information to the internet? (I blocked it in my firewall for now).
